Michael, who went by Mike, spent most of his life working in the construction industry. Much of his career was focused on residential construction, while dedicating the last decade to commercial construction by working for Douglass Distributing. Michael was very skilled at his craft. He took pride in his work and all that he had accomplished. He was a man of few words, a quiet and humble person.
Michael enjoyed being involved in his kids' and grandkids' lives. He always made time for their sporting events, school activities, hobbies, and never missed a birthday celebration. His grandkids affectionately called him Papa. He was a gentle man and loved his family dearly.
