William Walter Johnson, 58, passed away on January 2, 2022 in Perry, FL. Walter was born January 12, 1963 in Perry, Florida to John Johnson and Ruby Mae Connell Johnson.
Walter loved spending time with his grandkids and being in the woods. He dedicated many years of his life working the log woods working on skidders, loaders, and running his own crew.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents John and Ruby Mae Johnson, his brothers James Willard Johnson, Sam Johnson, Jack Johnson, Richard Johnson, and Bill Crews, step daughter Jeannie Gilbert, granddaughter Patsy Gilbert, and his grandson Mauricio James Sanchez.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Johnson; two children Jenni Johnson and John Johnson, step daughter Amanda Padgett, siblings Jeff Johnson, and Rocky Davis, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Pastor Cricket Watson officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Connell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Burns Funeral Home of Perry. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
