Anna Jo Donaldson, age 91, of the Crabtree community passed away on December 16, 2021. Jo was the daughter of Floyd L. and Zelma Ferguson Miller. She was born in Haywood County on October 22,1930.

She was preceded in death by parents, first husband, Henry R. Caldwell, son Stephen F. Caldwell (Debbie), brothers, Don Miller (Zela), Floyd Jr. "Sonny" (Frances) and Linuel (Dorothy). On December 24, 1952 she wed Clarence M. Donaldson the love of her life and faithful fishing partner. Clarence passed on August 21, 2004.

Survivors include grandson, Ben Caldwell (Susan), granddaughter, Hailey Caldwell, brother, Charles D. Miller (Barbara), numerous nieces and nephews and special nieces, Charlene Bright (J.D.) and Michele Burris (Dale).

Jo was of the Baptist faith and served in numerous capacities in churches as she moved from community to community. These included church secretary, treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, WMU director, etc. She especially enjoyed teaching children and young marriage class. She was an avid crafts person teaching on occasion at Haywood Community College.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 20, 2021 at Garrett Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 1 PM to 2 PM at Garrett Funeral Home.
