Grace became the wife of Dwight R. Sipes on January 30, 1953. Grace was a member of the Lyons Church of Christ. She was a dietary clerk at Greene
County General Hospital, retiring on March 26, 1999 with 26 years of service. Grace enjoyed quilting, crocheting and watching her hummingbirds.
Family left to cherish the memory of Grace include one son, Robert (Melody) Sipes of Lyons; one daughter, Mary (Rex) Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dwight Sipes; one son, John Sipes; one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton with Bro. Mike Kirby officiating. Grace will be laid to rest in Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, December 20 and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
