Linda Sue Myrtle "Susie" Williams, 75, of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at in Chillicothe after a brief illness. She was born May 15, 1946 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Murl E Williams and Evelyn W Kunzelman Williams. Surviving are her three children; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother; nephew; and niece. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Williams; sister, Nancy Lee Williams and nephew, Bradley Williams.

Susie had a strong commitment to her community for over a decade as the treasurer of the Huntington School Athletic Boosters. During her service, the club was instrumental in the purchase of the land which became the Myrl H. Shoemaker Athletic Complex as well as raising money for student athletic uniforms and equipment. Another highlight of service was being named the treasurer for the Bond Issue, which voters passed to build new school buildings in 1986.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Garden in Chillicothe. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
