Born in Cullman, Alabama, a daughter of George Glenn and Emma Royster Pittman, she was married in Summit County in 1926 to Herbert J. Burch. She had lived in the Akron area for 60 years.
Mrs. Burch was a charter member of Akron Baptist Temple. She retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. with ten years of service, also retiring from Co-Op with eight years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband and survived by daughters, Mrs. Albert (Geraldine) Frey of Uniontown and Mrs. Genette (June) Marshall of Miami, FL; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; plus two sisters, Mrs. Lela Belle Strickland of Akron and Mrs. Maude Reynolds of Orlando, FL.
Funeral on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Billow Fairlawn Chapel with private interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
