Linda W. Folk (Age 83) of Gainesville, Virginia died on August 6, 2021 in Gainesville, VA.
She was born in 1938 in Washington, DC then raised her family in Mt. Laurel, NJ before settling in Annandale, VA and finally retiring to Gainesville, VA.
Linda is survived by her children, Richard L. Folk and wife Barbara of Hague, VA and Karen L. Folk of Pennsauken, NJ, and her siblings Christine Wagener of Houston, TX and Carolyn Dixon of Melbourne Beach, FL. She was predeceased by her beloved life partner Michael A. Pollack.
Linda loved her family and as she made friends along the way, kept them for life. She loved to travel, but her favorite place was Ocean City, MD and enjoyed visiting annually.
A viewing and memorial gathering will be held on August 15, 2021 from 1 to 3 pm with a brief service following at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA. She will be buried in a family private service in a family plot in Glenwood Cemetery in Washington, DC.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter as Linda loved her cats.
