Patricia was an avid member of Findagrave and a legitimate Genealogist. You will notice many entries on Findagrave from her. She believed strongly, as her family does, that remembering is part of life. As she raised her family, the site of her grave and others in the family was always visited on Memorial Day with a picnic. She is greatly missed as an example of determination and perseverance. She will be remembered for her encouragement of her children's individuality and interests as well as a devoted wife of 52 years.

When her children were growing up, she used to tell them, "Joan Crawford's kids call her Mommy Dearest." At least one of her children comedically tortured her with that one for the rest of her life after the movie came out.

Pat had a fixation with anything that had to do with the book or movie version of "Gone with the Wind"... a subject that was often avoided lest one ahd to hear the story with all details... from beginning to end... for hours. LOL

Now, being a red-headed Irish girl, one might think that her patron saint would be St. Patrick of Ireland. However, most of the family knows that the Indian Maiden on Land O' Lakes butter must have been secretly baptized as "Patricia" and sainted along the way. At least, that's the way we tell it.

Fondly remembered as "Princess Patty," one would have thought it true at her funeral... with a bishop and about a dozen priests concelebrating with her son. Princess Di, move over... there's a new princess in town!
