Rose H. Sharp, age 90, of Leeds, AL., formerly Waynesburg, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, in the Beverly Health Care in Birmingham, AL. She was born in Louisville, a daughter of the late Stephen and Frances Cholley Hester, and had been an Alabama resident 15 years, previously residing in Minerva and then Waynesburg 20 years. Rose was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been employed at Molly Stark Hospital and also did private duty nursing. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Leeds and a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Waynesburg. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Sharp, Sr. in March of 1951, a grandson, Richard E. Sharp III in March of 1990, and a sister, Cecilia "Pat" Gill.
