Mr. O'Neil lived in Farmington, Durham and Newmarket for many years. He had been a resident of Dover for the past 18 months.
He was a retired cook, having worked for the University of New Hampshire for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in Germany.
Survivors include four daughters, Beverly O'Neil of Farmington, Carol A. O'Neil of Dover, Mrs. John Silvia Jr of Farmington, and Mrs. D__ (Ruth) Gilbert of of Rochester; grandchildren; two brothers, James O'Neil and David O'Neil of Oswego.
Entombment was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
