Gail G. Crooks, age 86 of Mentor, died on March 4, 2021 at her home. She was born on February 19, 1935 in Cleveland to the late Lawrence and Lucy Gallop. Gail worked as a bookkeeper for Ardac/Whirlpool/Maytag in Eastlake until her retirement in 2000. Gail was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Mentor. She enjoyed gardening, reading, drawing, painting, her kitties, and especially taking care of her grandkids. She is survived by her husband, Edward A. Crooks; daughter, Anne (Terry) Reese of Geneva; son, Alan D. Crooks of Geneva; grandchildren, Sheila (Marshall) Pesta, Dustin Crooks, and Tyler Crooks; great grandchildren, Eve, Zane, Gavin, and Blaze Pesta, and Savannah Crooks; half brothers, Steven and Lawrence Gallop. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Edward Crooks; sister, Laurie Gallop; and half siblings, Earl Gallop and Cheryl Shadix.
