Melvin Sturm, age 97 of Knoxville, died Monday, March 1, 2021 at his home. Melvin was a member of Heska Amuna Synagogue and a longtime mercantile owner operator.
He was preceded in death by his son Bradley Sturm and wife, Frances Sturm.
He is survived by his daughters, Diane Sturm Glass and Michelle Sturm, and daughter in law, Melissa Sturm. Grandchildren, Britt (Elyssa) Sturm, Eleanor Sturm, Leah (David) Denzel, and Derek Glass. Melvin's; brothers, Evan Sturm of Knoxville, Hiram Sturm of Atlanta, Georgia, and Howard Sturm of California. His beloved cousins Sam Balloff, Mary Ann Merrell, Jennye Merrell, and Carol and Steve Abeles; nephew Gary (Tamara) Sturm and their children Frank and Heidi Sturm.
