Polly is mostly known for her acting role as the sexy little green elephant, Tree Trunks, on the show Adventure Time. But Polly's story is much more interesting than you think.

Born Polly Lou Simon to Moritz Simon and Pauline Feller. Her father was a small department store owner in Victoria TX, the town she grew up in. Her childhood consisted of stories like her dog driving her family's car down Main Street that many that loved to hear. Her early memories also had her accompanying her father to his buying trips for the family business in The Big Apple. While on these buying trips, Polly met famous designers - including Claire McCardell, who personally made her wedding dress (which is now housed in the permanent fashion collection at the University of Texas).

Polly was true artist. She had an "intrinsic love of all things beautiful" her obituary put it as. This caused Polly to easily fit into the art world. Polly recognized and introduced artists all over Texas. From there, Polly launched her ever-famous Art-Tea Parties. In true Polly-fashion, and these became a huge sensation. In the 80's, Polly's tea-party morphed into Polly Lou's parties, which were a "visual whirlwind of theatrical whimsy with every detail perfectly executed". Polly collaborated with many well-know artists such as: Bill Wilhelmi, Ray Chavez, and Kevin and Cindy Jordan.

If there's one thing or person that Polly loved more than art, than it's her husband Bobby. Polly fell in love with a boy named Robert G. Livingston, the two later married in December 21, 1951. The marriage lasted a good 59 years until Bobby's death in 2001. Those 59 years produced two children, Ben and Carol.

In 2008 Penn Ward, an american animator, screenwriter, producer and voice actor, cast Polly in his Emmy Award winning show Adventure Time as Tree Trunks. As Polly's obituary put it: "To say the series was a smash hit is an understatement", this caused Polly to launch into pop stardom. Not only was she shot into stardom, but in 2014 she was awarded best-dressed woman by the San Antonio Current. In just an instant, Polly became beloved by millions.

Polly Lou passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and beloved caregivers, Sonia Lopez, Dehlia Leija, and her sister Idalia Leija. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Magloff (Stuart) of Canyon Lake; her son, Ben Livingston (Patricia Elias) of Austin, grandchildren, Spencer Magloff, Sarah Magloff, and Autumn Elias Kessler; her sister, Iris Rubin of San Antonio: nephews, Joe and Jamo Rubin; and her #1 cousin, Joe Cohn of Corpus Christi. Polly Lou is preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Livingston, and her parents, Pauline and M.O. Simon. Polly Lou will rest alongside her family at the Evergreen Jewish Cemetery in Victoria, Texas. The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support. She was a true Texas original and a very fine lady indeed.
