Billy Gene Clark was born on April 20, 1937 in Fort Worth, Texas and departed for his heavenly home on January 24, 2021.

We shall gather to celebrate his life on February 3,2021 at Laurel Land Fort Worth, TX. at 3:00pm. He was the first-born son of Willie and Jesse Clark of Fort Worth, TX. Billy Gene attended polytechnic high school. That's were he meet the love of his life, Lynda Lee Hankins. They married very young and the parents got together to stop their wedlock. Lynda's mother Mary had the final word, "they started this, and they will finish it". That statement proved itself for 66+ years of marriage. Their love endured every hill and valley for the remainder of his life. Billy Gene had many passions and hobbies, but they paled in comparison to his love, protection and providing for his wife and children. Together they raised four children, Bill, James, David and Christy. Bill and Lynda raised their children with God and discipline. His words of wisdom to his children where "If you want something you have to earn it". Billy Gene served honorably in the United States Navy. After his discharge he became a Fort Worth City Firefighter from 1960-1994. After 34 years of dedicated service, he retired at the rank of Lieutenant. Billy Gene's other endeavor was his company he founded in 1963, Bill Clark Moving and Delivery. Lynda was his closet partner. His sons worked alongside their father in the fire service and moving company. Billy Gene and Lynda's love transcended to every sibling. They not only worked together but celebrated every birthday, holiday and took many vacations as a family. Billy Gene is survived by his wife Lynda and children Bill and wife Val, James, David and wife Judy, Christy and husband Ben. A brother and two sisters, 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents Willie and Jesse, brother Jim and grandson Daniel.
