Dorothy Marie Davis, 55, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on December 14, 2020 at her home in Perry, FL.

Dorothy was born February 8, 1965 to Jerry and Barbara (Sadler) Smith.

Dorothy, who everyone knew and loved her as “Dottie” worked at Deal’s Famous Oyster House for sixteen years. Dottie devoted the last years of her life to loving and caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and all those who just needed a little extra love. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her flower beds.

If you knew Dottie, you loved Dottie.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister Lisa Smith.

Dottie is survived by her husband of 42 years Williams (John John) Davis, Jr., four children Meran Davis (David), Alan Davis, Angel Davis (Paul), Travis Whitehead and five grandchildren David Cook, Jr., Anna Cook, Averi Waldron, Addison and Aidan, two sisters Rosie Smith and Annette Lambert, and one brother Wade Smith as well as a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Davis’ family property with Bro. Cricket Watson and Rev. Billy Gipson officiating.
All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
