Frederick R. Strelau passed away on November 30, 2021. He was born in Bristol Connecticut on March 31, 1930. He was preceded in death by his wonderful wife Sylvia.
A graduate of Bentley University he served in the USAF during the Korean War. Fred retired from a family oil business in 1992 and moved to Rockcliffe Island, Maine. Fred and Sylvia moved to Ocala in 1998 to enjoy the sun and golf. He was a very generous man giving to many charities and his favorite was giving away silver dollars.
Services for Fred will be held at Bushnell Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to Hospice of Marion County.
