He moved to Phoeniz, Arizona, with his family while young. Later he loved in Studio City, CA where he lived for many years. Harrison worked as a computer operator and a bookkeeper for Central Casting in Hollywood, CA and avidly pursued his interests in genealogy.
In 1992 he moved back to Indiana and resided in St. Bernice until moving to Signature. He was instrumental in cataloging area yearbooks, cemetery populations, and obituaries for internet availability.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Jesse and Eva Pierce; sisters Ernestine and Lily May Pierce, Madeline Chambers, Elaine Hillyer, Edith Nowling, and Jessie Rigsby.
Survivors include a sister, Ethel Gillcoatt of Tuscon, AZ; brothers, Bill Pierce of Prescott, AZ, and Jess Pierce of Maricopa, AZ; along with many nieces and nephews.
Harrison wanted no service. His wishes will be followed with cremation and burial in Riverside Cemetery in Clinton.
