Patricia "Patsy" Carol (Boggs) Young
October 15, 1946 ~ September 17, 2020 (age 73)

Patricia Carol Young, 73, of Tarpon Springs, passed away, September 17, 2020. She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, to Kenneth Dale and Bonnie Mae (Jones) Boggs. Patsy, as she was nicknamed, moved to Sturgis, Michigan, where her brother, John, was born. They then moved to Muncie, Indiana, where Patsy and her brother went to school at Selma Elementary through high school. Patsy moved back to St. Petersburg before she graduated but returned to Selma to graduate high school. Patsy eventually returned to St. Petersburg, she married, Fred Law and had four children, Shawna, John, Jay and Shelly.

In 1976, Patsy married Willard Young Jr and remained married until his passing in 2009. Patsy and Will lived in Tarpon Springs and enjoyed many happy times together, including the yearly parties with Honeywell co-workers and his hunting buddies from Mississippi. Everyone enjoyed coming to the Youngs house for holidays and Sunday fried chicken with Ma-maw's secret recipe. Patsy worked at Honeywell in the procurement lab from 1973 until her retirement in 2005. Patsy was involved with the Baptist Church the majority of her life. She was a very dedicated member and loved being involved with all of the activities with the church and her church friends. Patsy went to Moody Bible Institute. She taught Sunday school for children through adults and was the treasurer for many years. Patsy was a current member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Holiday. Patsy is proceeded in death by her husband, Willard Young, Jr; son, John Marshall Law; father, Kenneth Dale Boggs; mother, Bonnie Mae Keel; brother, John Kenneth Boggs. She leaves behind, three children, Shawna Law Amenta, Jay Law, Shelly Law; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 11:00 to 12:00, and a service will begin at 12:00, both on, Friday, September 25, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1121 US Highway 19, Holiday. Immediately following, the interment will take place at Cycadia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Vinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
