Marie was married to her late husband, Edward "Big Eddie" for 46 years.
Marie was born Aug. 6, 1941, in the Bronx, N.Y.
She graduated from St. Catherine's Academy and worked in Manhattan prior to becoming a full-time mother and moving to Las Vegas in 1978.
Marie later worked in the real estate industry then Bullocks in the cosmetics department for over 10 years.
She played softball, loved to run, swim and watch inspirational movies.
Marie was a founding member of St. Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church and was involved in their Eucharistic Ministry and religious education programs for many years.
Marie had a very strong faith in God, and it was this faith that helped her not only to survive cancer three times, but also courageously fight the progression of three simultaneous neurodegenerative diseases.
Marie was incredibly compassionate, patient, kind and willing to help others.
In her later years, she enjoyed walking, yoga and meditation as well as spending time with her beloved friends and family.
Marie's family would like to thank her patient and loving caregivers especially Kristen Edmonds, Paula Wall, Taeko Judd and Angela Sacco-Armocida.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Anthony; and her husband, Edward.
She will be forever remembered by her son, "Little Eddie;" her daughters, Tee "Seesa" and Joy, her "Joy-Joy"; sister, Adele, and her husband, Patrick, of New Rochelle, N.Y; and sister, Patricia, her husband, Ed Touzalin, and their daughter, Nicole (husband, Shawn, daughter, Violet, son, Logan, and daughter, Teagan), of Queens, N.Y.
She will also be forever remembered by her husband, Edward's brothers, Bill (wife, Jackie) and Tom (wife, Mary); and sisters, Mary, Barbara (husband, Yogi); sister, Noreen; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Marie will be missed by her extended families and her many dear friends.
Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
A celebration of her life with Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 2, at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave.
Burial will follow at Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
