Vinnicombe, Wing Commander Harry Cail With his family at his side, died at home Thursday, June 22, 2000 after a valiant struggle with cancer. He was born June 15, 1915. Beloved husband and friend of his wife Barbara (Campbell) and dear father of Elizabeth of Waterloo and Robert of Calgary. Cail was a graduate of Acadia (Eng) University, a member (#985) of the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1939-1964 and Director of Housing at the University of Waterloo from 1964-1983. He was involved in Hockey as a player, coach and volunteer organizer in the Air Force, with Universities in the K-W area and a 27 year ticket holder of the Rangers Hockey Team. He was a mason with #151 Grand River Masonic Lodge and a shriner with the Mocha Temple. He was a member of Wedgewood and Temiskeming fishing clubs. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen Street East, Waterloo (between King and Herbert Streets) on Monday, June 26, 2000 at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donation to the K-W Health Care Centre Grand River Hospital, Cancer Centre Building Fund, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
