Jeanette Lois Hartzell was born to Wilbur and Leone Hartzell at Jubilee, Iowa, on November 3, 1940. She passed away at the University Hospital in Iowa City last Saturday, June 5, after a brief final illness. She had been a healthy and growing girl until stricken with rheumatic fever more than a year ago.
Jeanette had lived near Plainfield most of her brief life. She attended the Lafayette and Plainfield schools. Her teachers and friends speak appreciatively of her scholarship, friendship, and cooperation.
Jeanette is survived by her father and mother: her sister, JoAnn, her brothers, Paul, Roger and Robert, and by both maternal and paternal grandpsrents.
