OBIT: Elizabeth J. "Bettie" Frey, age 77, of Fairborn passed away Saturday, January 24, 2004, in Community Hospital, Springfield.

Bettie was born June 1, 1926, in Midland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Clarence and Loraine (Miller) Moon. Bettie was a tour guide for the United States Air Force Museum, a member of the Officer's Wives Club, and attended The Ohio State University. Her life was dedicated to her family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal D. Frey, in 1993 and her step-father, Herbert Fisher. Survivors include her daughters,of Fairborn, brother, Robert Moon of Wilmington, Ohio, aunt Marjorie Armstrong of Huntsville, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Belton Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with burial to follow in the Grandview Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in Bettie's memory to the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Springfield, Ohio, or to The Tenth Life, P.O. Box 178 Alpha, Ohio 45301.
