Preceded in death are brothers Richard Daniels and Joe Gibson, Father and Mother in law Earl and Matilda Daniels, sister in law Virginia Daniels, and Brothers in law Daryl Travis and Earl Eastridge.
Van was a retired passionate coal miner of 48 years. He excelled at having an open heart and mind. Van was a hard worker, and left this world doing exactly what he loved. He loved his family and life to the fullest. Family and friends could depend on Van for anything as he was considered the “Jack of all trades.” He loved to travel, from cruising, camping, Niagara Falls, Great Wall of China, Yankee stadium, Nascar, and finally to his heavenly home to celebrate his birthday. He was a faithful member of Grace Connection church where he humbly served the Lord.
