Carl L. Sears, 94, of Lewisburg, West Virginia passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at Peyton Hospice House.

Carl was born August 6, 1926 at Blue Sulphur Springs to the late William John and Sadie Ardel Jackson Sears.

He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a retired truck driver at Gateway Transportation.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Fran Marshall; son, Jimmy Doran; sister, Gaylene Zimmerman; brothers, Dewey and Larry Sears.

Survivors include daughters, Janice Elleman and Pebble of Vidor, TX; Deanna Fields of Oklahoma City, OK; Diana McDonald of Foley, AL, Cindy Shultz and Terry of Piqua, OH; son, Denzil Sears and Wendy of Piqua, OH; sisters, Maria Loudermilk and Edna Hedricks; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Evelyn Sears; daughter-in-law, Linda Doran.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Burial will follow at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
