Husband of Mary Josephine Prew. His obituary appeared in the Marshall Messenger Newspaper on Monday June 13, 1904. Died: Wm. McKillip, at his home in this city, Monday afternoon, Mr. McKillip was born in Iowa, March 14, 1854 and moved to Prairie du Chien,Wisconsin, when only three weeks old. He married Miss Mary Prew, in Wisconsin, in 1880, and moved to Marshall in 1891. the deceased leaves a wife, a daughter, two sons, (William Joseph McKillip) and his mother and a sister.

This is a Catholic Cemetery, established by St. Joseph's Catholic Church and supported by its parishioners. Several priests and Nuns are buried here as well as many well known former residents.
