Dalton Jacob Lee Abney, age 21, of Alexandria, Kentucky, formerly of Pendleton County, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born May 3, 1999, in Edgewood, Kentucky, the son of the Monnie (Tom Fuller) Abney and Shawn Abney. Jacob was a graduate of Pendleton County High School. He loved being outside and was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by: a sister, Shalah Abney; two step-brothers, Kaden Fuller and Keagan Fuller; his grandmother, Terry O’Hair; his great-grandmother, Lee Sebastian; and numerous loving aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by: a sister, Lynnsie O’Hair; a brother, Christopher O’Hair; a step-sister, Alyssa Baker; and a step-brother, Michael Friedhoff, II.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Jacob’s final resting place will be at Grandview Cemetery, in Campbell County, Kentucky.
