Mrs. Helen Carter died at the home of her daughter at Ambrose, N. D. last Sunday morning at 1:30 o'clock, aged nearly 79 years. Deceased was born in New York state and came to Twin Lakes, this county in 1858, continuing to reside there until last fall when she went to Ambrose to visit her daughter. She was one of the oldest and most highly esteemed residents of this county and her death will be greatly mourned by all. She leaves several children, among whom are Fred Carter of Bowbells, N, D., and Mrs. Joe Gilbert and Mrs. J. P. Greene of this city. Funeral services will be held at Twin Lakes tomorrow afternoon at I o'clock. The interment will be in the Glenville cemetery.
