Ethel Rebecca Smeltzer was born on July 8, 1930. Born to the proud parents Charles E. and Elizabeth Silar Smeltzer. Ethel was the 3rd child born to the couple out of 3 chlldren. Her siblings include Laura Mae and Charles E. Smeltzer Jr.

Ethel met and married Karl Campbell Grim. They married on August 27, 1952. They had a son together, Wayne Charles Grim.

Sadly, Ethel died on August 18, 2020, at the age of 90. She joined her husband Karl who died on August 3, 2010.
