Mr. Moshier was the first white child born in Mower county. His wife who was Dora Turbett, came to Freeborn county with her parents in 1861, so she was one of the oldest residents of the county. In 1884 Mr. and Mrs. Moshier were united in marriage by Judge Stacy. They have resided in Freeborn county since and for a long while made their home at Glenville.
