Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from the City of Concord as an Electrical Line Truck Supervisor. As a lifelong church member, Ken spent his last years as a member of Center United Methodist Church. Ken was a loving husband with many hobbies. He spent as many days as possible at High Rock Lake teaching all of his children and grandchildren to ski, and appreciate all of God's blessings. In his spare time Ken enjoyed riding his Gold Wing motorcycle, playing cards with friends, and taking pride in everything he owned. Ken will be always be known as the big man in "the little red car".
