Funeral services for William Oliver Fuller, 83, who died at a local nursing home Monday, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sunset chapel of Donelson, Sewell & Hammack Mortuary with the Rev. A.J. Gelinas officiating. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the chapel.
Born in Iowa March 12, 1876, Mr. Fuller lived many years in Nebraska and Wyoming before moving to Washington county 38 years ago. His home was at 433 S. 7th, Hillsboro.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leonard E. Melanson adn Mrs. Agness Luttrell both of Hillsbor; brother G. Wesley Fuller, Grand Ronde; sisters Mrs. Lula Mary Mang, Scotts Bluff, Neb., Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Bigsby, Hillsboro; several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Bessie Franks, Hillsboro. A son Charles William Fuller, predeceased him in 1947. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as casket bearers and interment will be at Fir Lawn cemetery. Mrs. Leo Dugan will be organist.
