DEATH OF WILL ROGAN

In hopes of regaining his impaired health, Mr Will B. Rogan left here only a few weeks ago for San Antonio, Texas, accompanied by his brother Mr. G. W. Rogan. The young man had been in charge of the El Dorado plantation in Madison Parish, LA. On Monday evening the sad news came by telegram telling of his death, which occurred at 4:30 p.m. that day. Mr. Loyd Rogan, his father, had left for San Antonio on Saturday, and only reached his dying son in time to see him pass from this earth to the Heavenly home. The parents of the deceased young man are residents of this city and have many friends whose sympathies go to them in this hour of their great loss. Father, mother, three sisters and three brothers are left to mourn the loss of an affectionate son and brother.

It is expected that the remains will reach here tonight at 9 o'olook and will be taken to the family home on East Avenue. The interment will take place tomorrow, at Union Chapel near Auguilla, where the young man was born and raised.

A SAD DEATH
YOUNG VICKSBURG MAN DIES FAR FROM HIS NATIVE CITY

The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd W. Rogan and family were pained to hear of the death of their son, Will B. Rogan, aged 28 years, which occurred at San Antonio, Texas, Monday afternoon. The young man had gone to the Texas city some weeks ago, accompanied by his brother, Mr. G. W. Rogan, in the hope of benefitting his shattered health, who after seeing him comfortably established there returned to his business at El Dorado, LA.

On Saturday a telegram came to the family here, intimating that Will's condition was extremely critical and his father at once set out for San Antonio, arriving just about the time of his death, which occurred at 4:30 p. m. Monday. He was a native of Sharkey County, and second son of Mr. and Mrs. Rogan, leaving his father and mother, three brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Rogan started on his sad homecoming with his son's remains yesterday morning, and will arrive over the V.S.&P. tonight, when the body will be taken to the family home, at 120 East avenue. The interment, however, will be held at Union Chapel, near Anguilla, Thursday, being near the old home where he was born and raised, Rev. Mr. Holloman, probably, officiating.
