Alma was born April 29, 1926 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of John T. and Cleda Bell (Hoxey) Stickles. She married Kenneth Robert Schuman on January 18, 1943 in Clayton, Missouri.
Alma was a member of Lampstand Presbyterian Church. She worked in customer service for Montgomery Wards. Alma volunteered at the Salvation Army Meals on Wheels and enjoyed playing golf.
She is survived by her children, Pamela S. (William H.) Wyatt of Hurst, Illinois, Michael D. (Sandra J.) Schuman of Noblesville, Indiana and Toni L. (Danny L.) Reynolds of Decatur; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene (Herman) Hale of Decatur, and Susan (Jerry) Zientara of Decatur and brother, John (Wanda) Stickles of Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Linda L. Legg, and brother, Ted Stickles.
