Surrounded by family in his home on September 20, 2019 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Maria for over 34 years. Cherished father of Ilidio Rebelo (Cathy), Angela Conter (Claudio) and Tony Abballe (Wanda) Adoring grandfather to Paolo, Anthony Rebelo, Derek, Paolo Conter. Proud great-grandfather to Avery and Amari Conter. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Angela. Dear brother to Esterina, the late Maria, Matilde, the late Mario, Ricardo, Luigi, and the late Sam. Loving brother-in-law to Odette, Lino, the late Fernando, the late Manuel and the late Jose. Arthur loved music and especially enjoyed playing the accordion. He had an affinity for Johnny Cash, as well as for hunting. He dearly enjoyed quality time with his family and friends. Arthur will be deeply missed by his grandchildren. He shared a special bond with Paolo who became his dearest companion, and Anthony whom he shared many talks and walks with. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL (43 Barton St. E., Hamilton) on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will begin at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary's Church (146 Park St. N., Hamilton) on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
