Blanche A. Minnick, age 88, of Royersford, PA, wife of the late Edward P. Minnick. A former resident of Warminster, Slatington, Schnecksville, and Pottstown, PA, she passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in the Sanatoga Center. Born on November 29, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alton V. and Anna E. (Klunder) Bartley.
Mrs. Minnick was a graduate of Frankford High School. She was a longtime member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church in Schnecksville, where she served as a volunteer quilter. She was employed as an administrative secretary and dispatcher for the Montgomery Township Police Department, retiring after 13 years.
Mrs. Minnick is survived by a brother, John Bartley, husband of Margaret Bartley, of Fleetwood, PA, four children, Cheryl, wife of Wayne Blattner of Royersford, PA, Gary, husband of Anna Minnick of North Wales, Sharon, wife of John Shainline of Pottstown, PA and Gregg, husband of Sandy Minnick of Stevens PA; six grandchildren, Karly Doyle, Kurt Blattner, Corrine Kolosinsky, Zachary Minnick, Kenny Minnick, Ian Minnick; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Minnick is proceeded in death by one sister Marion Burger wife of the late Elwyn Burger.
