Gordon LeRoy Adamson, son of Clifford and Mildred Adamson, was born southeast of Nelson, Nebraska July 24, 1935. He passed away Wednesday, November 15, 1972, at the age of 37 years 3 months and 21 days.
He graduated from the Nelson High School and attended college at Kansas State. He served in the United States Navy from 1953 to 1957. After his discharge, he farmed and was a truck driver.
He was a member of the American Legion, the Livestock Feeders' Association, and the Superior Elk's Lodge.
He was united in marriage to Marilyn Schultz in 1963 in Norwalk, California. To this union two children were born; one son, Kirby, and a daughter, Angela.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Marilyn; his son, Kirby; his daughter, Angela; his parents, Clifford and Mildred Adamson; his grandmother, Alta Adamson, all of Nelson, Nebraska; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Smiley Rust of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 18, 1972, from the First Presbyterian Church in Nelson, Nebraska with the Rev. Forrest R. Grimm officiating. Interment and military rites were from the Nelson Cemetery. The Klawitter Funeral Home of Nelson was in charge of arrangements.
