Myrtice was the second of 9 children, a loving wife, Mother of three, a faithful prayer warrior and servant for the Lord and His Word and bank teller of 20 plus years. She planted many seeds in this world that grew to a harvest, following in her footsteps, continually planting more seeds of His Word for generations to come until the return of our Lord.
Myrtice was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 68 years & 1 day, Joseph “Joe” Marshall Farmer, Sr., son, Joseph Marshall Farmer, Jr., and daughter, Marilyn Farmer Lyons, and 5 siblings.
Survivors include daughter, Marsha Lynn Farmer Ray, Son-in-love. Glen, of the home; son, Mark Alan Farmer, Daughter-in-love, Carol, of Jones, OK. Son-in-love, Jay Lyons, Daughter-in-love, LaDonna, of Midwest City, OK; 11 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 sister-in-love, along with countless loved ones that she accepted as her own.
The Family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to Crossroads Hospice for the love, compassion & tender touch with which you blessed Mama during the last 14 months. We will never be able to express how blessed you made Mama, and each of us feel every time you walked through our door. Each of you has a jewel in your crown awaiting you.
Homegoing celebration service: Thursday, 18 July, at First Southern Baptist Church, 6400 S. Sooner Rd, Oklahoma City, OK. Internment is at Resthaven Memorial Garden.
