Eva Nell Plumlee passed away on Saturday April 24, 2019, at the Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center in Celina. Eva Nell was born in Celina on Tuesday, October 25, 1932 to the late O.N. and Ethel (Reecer) Cherry. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 year, Louis Mitchell Plumlee who passed away in 2018; Brothers Ralph and Newell Cherry.
Throughout her life Eva Nell was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Besides serving her family as a strong Christian woman, Eva Nell obtained a Master’s Degree and was an educator in Celina for 38 years, beginning at the young age of 19. She will be remembered for her genuine kindness and her love of the Lord.
Eva Nell was a God-honoring woman and was a member of the Beech Bethany Church of Christ. Eva Nell was untied in marriage with the love of her life, Louis Mitchell Plumlee for 66 years. After marrying on December 29, 1951 they completed their family with three children: Gary, James and Jayne.
Eva Nell is survived by sons Gary (Betty) Plumlee of Celina, James “Muscles” Plumlee of Celina; daughter Jayne (Kevin) Donaldson of Celina; brother Kenneth (Ramona) Cherry of Columbia; sisters Adele Birdwell, Ina Masters of Cookeville; grandchildren Brian Plumlee, Melanie (Brandon) Likens, Deanna (Jon) Pouliot, Mitch (Marty) Plumlee, Parker (Becca) Donaldson, Josh Plumlee; great-children, Brant Likens, Ben Likens, Miley Likens, Eleanor Pouliot, Michael Plumlee, Bryleigh Plumlee, Kyleigh Plumlee, Ella Donaldson, Tucker Donaldson, Willa Donaldson, along with a host of other family, friends and neighbors who mourn her passing.
