Raymond Cecil Thompson, 80, of Greenup, KY passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Concord Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg, OH. He was born March 8, 1938 in Cannonsburg, KY the son of the late Woodrow and Audrey Otis Thompson. He was a former steelworker for AK Steel and a member of the National Guard. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Vina Marie Danner Thompson of Greenup, KY; three daughters, Loretta Barrett (Steve) of Greenup, KY, Rose Boggs (Darrell) of Sandy Hook, KY and Becky Cremeans (Sean) of Pedro, OH; one son, Jim Danner of Greenup, KY; two sisters, Carolyn Fields (Ellis) of Westwood, KY and Donna Thompson of Flatwoods, KY; one brother, Ronnie Thompson of Westwood, KY; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 PM Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Acy Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Thompson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
