Rogene C. Hoffer was born on May 22, 1935 to Arnold and Alice (Suhr) Abresch in Gresham, Nebraska.
She attended Utica High School and graduated in 1952.
On December 13, 1953 Rogene was united in marriage to Julius Hoffer in Utica, Nebraska.
She worked for 30 years at Goodyear manufacturing. She was also a housewife and enjoyed taking care of her family.
In her free time Rogene enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping and cooking for the entire family. She loved her boat because it gave her freedom and she cried when they sold it.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln.
Rogene passed away on February 18, 2019 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 27 days.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Jane) Hoffer, Lincoln, Nebraska, Jesse Hoffer, Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Patricia (Tom) Sabata, West Des Moines, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Amanda Ross Hoffer, Lincoln, Nebraska; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Rogene was preceded in death by her husband, Julius L. Hoffer; parents, Arnold and Alice Abresch; brothers, Wayne Abresch, Gale Abresch; grandparents; Charles and Emma Abresch, Hallig and Clara Suhr.
