Geo. F. Day Dead.
Mr. George F. Day died this morning. He was the brother of Mrs. E.H. Wilson of 627 Sylvan street, and died at her home. Mr. Day was an old solider a member of Co. H, 6th, Iowa volunteer Infantry, the colonel of which was D.B. Henderson, late speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States. He had been out in Montana for a number of years, and but a few months ago came to this city, where he had been since at the residence of his brother-in-law laying sick, but having every care possible to loving and willing hands, three sisters being with him to the end and administering to his wants, Mrs. Wilson and Miss Ulla Day, who reside here, and Mrs. T.W. Vandever, of Wichita, who has been here for some time past. The remains will be sent this evening to Lineville, Iowa, where they will be laid to rest beside those of his father and mother in the home burial plot.
