Obituary | "Funeral services for Savannah Lias Davis, 80, of 1101 Whetstone Street, Marshall, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Lewis Funeral Home with the Rev. J.W. Reeves officiating. Burial will be in Nichol Cemetery. Mrs. Davis died Tuesday, April 5, 1983 in Merritt Plaza Nursing Home. She was born May 8, 1902, in Marshall, the daughter of Tom and Adeline Lias. She was a homemaker. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Eva Lee Adkins, of Marshall; five nephews; and seven grandchildren."
