Anthony was a good friend to my cousin Jim Babb. Jim located Anthony's mother and I took his picture to the wall in Washington. God Bless You each and every one that served. Holly.

I MISS YOU TONY. THAT CROOKED SMILE, THAT SENSE OF HUMOR. THAT GLEAM IN YOUR EYES. MISCHIEVOUS, THAT WAS YOU AND A TRUE FRIEND! I HELD IT IN FOR A LONG TIME BUT, WHEN I SAW YOUR NAME ON THE WALL, I WEPT LIKE A CHILD. AND I OFTEN DO STILL AS I CONSIDER THE LOSS OF YOUR LIGHT! I THINK OF YOU WITH MISTY EYES AND I SPEAK WELL OF YOU. YOUR MEMORY IS ALIVE. YOU ARE IN MY THOUGHTS AND YOU ARE IN MY SONGS. THANK YOU MY FRIEND, FOR YOUR TIME, YOUR COURAGE, YOUR ZEST. MEMORIES OF ALL THESE I WILL CHERISH ALL MY DAYS! WITH LOVE, HONOR AND RESPECT...I REMAIN...YOUR SHIPMATE, YOUR FRIEND....JOHN E VANCE, RM3, VUNG RO BAY, IUWG1, UNIT 5,1968.
