Pamela A. Mehok, age 70, of St. John, IN passed away Friday, July 20, 2018. She was born on February 1, 1948 to Sharon Dmit and the late Joseph Dmit. She was the loving wife of Jack Mehok for 45 years and the always caring and loving mother of Katie Bluett and her husband Paul. Pam looked for ways to involve herself every single day with her grandchildren Jade, Logan, Olivia and Piper. Perhaps Pam's favorite activity was her Friday get together at her mother Sharon's home with Sharon and Pam's sisters Debbie Dmit and Wendy (Doug) Spencer. Pam Graduated from Thornridge High School and Northern Illinois University with a Degree in Education. She enjoyed teaching first at Lincoln Elementary School in Calumet City, Illinois and then at both Strassburg and Wagoner Schools in Sauk Village, Illinois. Pam would plan our yearly vacations to Disney World and enjoyed watching our daughter and then her children "Discover the Magic". Visitation Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the ELMWOOD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 11300 West 97th Lane (1/2 block west of U. S. 41 / Wicker Ave. at 97th Street) St. John, IN 46373. A service of "Family Remembrances" will take place at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery Schererville, IN.
