George E. Abbott Jr.

On April 2, 2004, George E. Abbott, Jr., a Veteran of WWII*, who received a Purple Heart, retired as an electrical supervisor from the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel; beloved husband of Anna Abbott (nee Gurfolino); devoted brother of Lillian E. Walls; loving uncle of Mario Bognanni, Andrew C. Norris, Janice Robinson, JoAnn and Victoria Gurfolino. Also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at The Johnson Funeral Home, P.A., 8521 Loch Raven Blvd (beltway exit 29B), on Sunday, from 7 to 9 P.M. and Monday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at 9 A.M. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, 8501 Loch Raven Blvd, Towson, MD, 21286.
