BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Bessie Faye Moore, 69, will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at 12:00 p.m. in the Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Robert Goetjen, Jr. of Faith Temple Assembly Church. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Bessie was born on December 14, 1937 to the late Thomas J. and Eunice Smith and entered into rest on April 15, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt E. Moore; her parents; and three sisters, Velcie Alexander, Anna Scott and Neoma McLeod. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Denise Troutman, Bernice Cherry, and Thomas Moore; sisters, Shirley Rowland and husband, Duncan and twin sister, Martha Dawson; brother, Calvin Smith and wife, Jill; grandchildren, Sonya Jones, Kris Cherry, Danielle Trejo, and Billy Cherry, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Aiden and Amelia Jones, and Claudia Trejo.
Pallbearers will be Duncan Rowland, Tom McLeod, Kris Cherry, Billy Cherry, Jr., Randy Jones, and Joey Trejo. Honorary pallbearer will be Aiden Jones.
