Arthur F. Landon
Arthur Francis Landon, 86, of Anderson, Calif., formerly a resident of Pomona, died Monday in Anderson.
Mr. Landon was born Sept. 26, 1881, in Iowa. He was a former member of the First Christian Church in Pomona and of the Pomona Knights of Pythias. He was a member of the Lebanon, Ore. Grange and an elder of the First Christian Church in Lebanon.
He is survived by two daughterss, Mrs. Grace Knechtel of Anderson and Mrs. Margaret Nabakowski of Pomona; a son, Arthur B. Landon of Camby, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Mae Zeimann of Upland; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today in McDonald's Chapel, Anderson. Graveside services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Pomona Cemetery. Friends may call at Todd Memorial Chapel Pomona Thursday between the hours of 5 and 9:30 p.m.
