Kevin Eugene Dupus passed away peacefully January 18, 2018. Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa March 3, 1956 to Myron and Bonnie Dupus. He moved to Spokane at age 5 and called it home ever since. He met the love of his life, LeAnn when they were just teenagers. They married Nov.15th, 1975. They welcomed their only child Nikole, 13 months later. Working at Kaiser Aluminum as a stretcher operator he quickly became involved with local Steelwork Union #338. He served as a Chief Griever, Vice-President and Chief Steward for the Union. His amazing sense of humor was one of his best qualities. People were drawn to him because of it. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, & camping. The joy of his life was his family. He was especially proud of his grandsons and great-grandson and loved bragging about them. He was preceded in death by his parents Bonnie and Myron Dupus; siblings, James Dupus and Charlene Domitrovich and father-in-law Leroy Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, LeAnn Dupus (Phillips), daughter Nikole McVay (Dupus), grandsons Brett McVay (Shaynea) and Kalob McVay (Emily) and his favorite great-grandson Peyton McVay. He is also survived by mother-in-law Joanne Phillips, sister-in-law Konnie Johnson (Will) and several nephews. His love and memories will remain with us, near and dear to our heart forever. His memorial service will be open to all family and friends on Saturday, January 27th at 1pm at Hennessey Funeral Home 2203 N Division.
