She was born March 22, 1985, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Donald E. Metzler, of Allenwood, and the late Carol A. (Ulmer) Metzler who preceded her in death in 2013. On June 28, 2008, she married Louis G. Palazzo and they have celebrated nine years of marriage.
Naomi was a 2004 graduate of Watsontown Christian Academy and a 2008 graduate of Baptist Bible College in Clark Summit with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
She taught at the Watsontown Christian Academy until the birth of her children, and then became a loving and devoted stay-at-home mother.
Naomi was a member of Elimsport Baptist Church and loved running marathons and gardening.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her son and daughter, Jesse G. and Hannah G. Palazzo, both at home; and two brothers, Nevin E. Metzler, of Conroe, Texas and Nathan A. Metzler, of Cininnatus, N.Y.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Elimsport, 16838 Route 44, Allenwood, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Todd Baker officiating.
Burial will follow in Elimsport Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory be made to her church.
