Long, Clure Haskel (Hack) - of Granite Circle, Louisville, passed away Saturday in Orlando, Fla. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Geri L. Long; son, Gary Long of Maryville; granddaughter, Ashley Long; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Long of Morristown; sisters, Mrs. Helen Bible, Mrs. Cindy Helton, Mrs. Agnes Hill; brothers, Arnold Long, James Edward Long, all of Morristown. Funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday, McCammon-Ammons Chapel, Dr. Gordon Sterchi officiating. Interment Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons, Maryville.

ET Man Dies at Bowl Game
Louisville - Clure Haskel (Hack) Long, 48, owner and operator of Crest Bowling Lanes, Maryville, died Saturday while attending the Citrus Bowl game in Orlando, Fla.
Long, Louisville, was attending the game with his wife, Geri, and Gary and Sherri Long, his son and daughter-in-law of Maryville. With them was another Maryville couple, Ron and Linda Ogle.
He suffered an apparent heart attack shortly before halftime, his wife said.
He became owner of the bowling alley in 1964. He was a member of the Maryville-Alcoa Jaycees, the Maryville-Alcoa Bowling Association, the American Legion, the McGhee-Tyson Armed Forces and was a veteran.
In addition to his wife and son, he leaves a granddaughter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Long, Morristown; sisters, Mrs. Helen Bible, Mrs. Cindy Helton and Mrs. Agnes Hill, and brothers, Arnold Long and James Edward Long, all of Morristown.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Sherwood Memorial Gardens
